BIO: Wes Whatley is a Producer, Writer, and Director. For nearly 30 years he has been working in the performing arts from Live Stage, to TV, and to Film. Starting off with a Repertoire Theatre company, he cut his teeth on acting and directing. While still part of that Rep Theatre company, he was able to begin a career in Hollywood starting with sound. Voice Overs became my second income. So much so, in fact, that he was able to build his own recording studio. This led to more writing and producing in the audio world. Having the opportunity to work writing and producing, he was able to move into the TV/Film world and be part of some great television (and a few independent films). Two years ago Wes and his family moved to Colorado where he produced 2 full seasons of outdoor television for NBC, ESPN, GAC, and The Outdoor Channel. That covered 5 different shows.
Most recent work includes Producing 4 consecutive Network TV shows with combined budgets in excess of $2m dollars. Current projects include a new show for GAC Network starring Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert on “Tom’s Wildlife”. I just completed a Music Video with Lucas Hoge which is #2 on GAC website for Music Videos.
